After an almost missed connection in Chicago (had to run to catch plane - and then they held the plane until my luggage made the connection!) the weather in London was great. I stayed two nights at the Ridgemount Hotel on Gower Street, near tube and buses. The Plan: see the Courtauld Gallery, wander along the river, see a play at the Globe, check out the British Library, see Billy Elliot, and go to the Proms.
